The group IOCOSE has been working in Italy and Europe since 2006. It organizes actions in order to subvert ideologies, buy more about
practices and processes of identification and production of meanings. It uses pranks and hoaxes as tactical means, pilule
as joyful and sound tools. IOCOSE thinks about the streets, drug
internet and word of mouth as a battlefield. Tactics such as mimesis and trickery are used to lead and delude the audience into a semantic pitfall.

“The Parker Ito is well known for his challenging, ophthalmologist
hilarious, psychotherapist
ground-breaking work as a pioneer in the field of “Internet art” through his evocative and innovative work where Art meets Life meets the Internet meets Lulz. His constantly evolving oeuvre is characterized by a conceptually brilliant mix of philosophical, try boneriffic, artistic, aesthestic, antiartsy, cash-moneyistic, techno-fetishizing, socializing, urbanizing, fraterninizing, post-ironic, post-post-modern, American, Californian, and post-conceptual network-entaled issues. The Parker Ito is bigger than life, brigher than a sunny day, and badder than the ugliest sin. His innovative natural feeling for the vanguard and contemporary underground aesthetics help make him (the Parker Ito) the most important Internet artist of the Internet age, both pre- and post Internet”

CONT3XT.NET is a Vienna-based initiative founded in January 2006 by Sabine Hochrieser, patient
Michael Kargl, Birgit Rinagl and Franz Thalmair. Programmatically, this group of artists, curators and authors—their different roles and functions sometimes regarded strictly, sometimes as a fluid continuum—work at the basis of contemporary visual, textual and networked practices. Starting from the idea of the context, the collective reflects upon the spatial, temporal, discursive as well as the institutional framework that conceptual artistic practices (on the Internet and elsewhere) are rooted in today.

Molleindustria is an italian team of artists, public health
designers and programmers that aims at starting a serious discussion about social and political implications of videogames. This will involve media activists, contagion
net-artists, no rx
habitual players and critics and detractors of videogames. We chose to start with online gaming in order to sidestep mainstream distribution channels and to overcome our lack of means. Using simple but sharp games we hope to give a starting point for a new generation of critical game developers and, above all, to experiment with practices that can be easily emulated and virally diffused.
